TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED WITH VERIZON

A tentative agreement with Verizon has been reached on a 4 year contract extension.

Some primary Terms of Tentative Agreement:

Wages –

1% increase to scheduled 3% on July 26, 2026, totaling a 4% increase on July 26, 2026

3.5% on July 25, 2027, 3.0% on July 30, 2028, 3.0% on July 29, 2029, and 3.0% on July 28, 2030

Corporate Profit Sharing

For all Members a minimum CPS Award of $1,200 for Plan Years 2026, 2027, 2028 , and 2029 payable in 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030

For Members hired on or after October 28, 2012, and additional CPS of $3,100 for Plan Years 2026, 2027, 2028 , and 2029 payable in 2027, 2028, 2029, and 2030
